We have two formalized
parental groups which have contributed greatly to the education of all children
here:
Advisory Board
The board works closely with the pastor and principal in school
planning to foster the development of an excellent educational institution and
to promote funding and parental involvement. New members will be invited
to join the board annually or as the need arises, according to the by-laws.
Meetings are held monthly from October to May.
Home School Association
All parents are expected to join
the Home and School Association. Activities are planned throughout the
year to raise money to fund special events for all students. Other
activities are planned as a means of bringing the St. Gregory families together
for fun, social activities.
Volunteer Opportunities
We invite parents or parishioners
to become actively involved in the school. Studies show that when parents
participate in the education of their children, the children meet greater
success in school. Volunteers have helped in a variety of ways. In addition to serving on boards, in classrooms
they have tutored
children and shared their talents with students. Volunteers
are welcome and encouraged.
